In 2008/9 I had my own two-man show on CUR1350, Cambridge University's student radio station. As part of this, I took on the branding of the show, with a logotype and website. Website images to follow.
The logotype is semi-opaque in places, with a varying opacity that makes it place well over websites (with a little technical trickery). Presented in Portable Network Graphic format, the entire site was a mix of different levels of transparency, giving a layered feel to it. The font is Johnston Underground, the same as is used by London Transport on the Underground network. I used this font because it's incredibly clear and also very pleasing to the eye. It's wider average letter width making it a friendlier alternative to using a more swiss-style sans-serif.
